Our team at Dakota Pro Wirehairs is serious about breeding only those dogs that truly promise to continue to improve the genetics of the breed. We take great pride in providing you with a great hunting partner as well as household companion. We have each prospective owner complete a puppy questionnaire to help us better understand what you are looking for in a pup and work hard to place a pup with you that meets your needs.

Puppy Selection:
It is our policy to not sell puppy placements, like “pick of the litter”, however, the order that the deposits come in does position you in the litter depending on how many pups are born. For instance, if we received more deposits for males or females than were born in the litter, the person with the last deposit will either be given the choice to change their choice of gender, be moved to the next available litter, or receive a deposit refund.
At five to six weeks of age we begin the process of determining placement of the puppies. We will use information you have provided to us through the puppy questionnaire as well as our time with the puppies to make the appropriate matches between buyer and puppy. This helps us avoid serious mismatches like the boldest puppy going to a first time handler.
This process will ensure the best possible match between you and your next hunting partner and household companion.
Guarantee:
All Dakota Pro Wirehairs puppies are fully guaranteed for the first 24 months of life to be free from any debilitating genetic health disorder that would limit the dog’s ability to perform as a hunting companion. Independent veterinary verification may be required. The buyer can choose to have a full refund of the purchase price or reserve a puppy from another litter at no charge. All return expenses to Dakota Pro Wirehairs, such as shipping, will be at the sole expense of the buyer.
